Physical Premises

Nearly every person who has worked in an office building has personally witnessed or heard stories of thieves who impersonate employees in order to steal company property. Improper disposal of paper records and retired computer equipment potentially exposes valuable intellectual property and customer records to potentially malicious “dumpster divers.” The lack of secure door access technology, and well-intentioned employees who hold the door for strangers lead to rampant theft of corporate property.

Even the most secure network is vulnerable to compromise when corporate premises are poorly secured. Laptops, mobile storage devices, and backup tapes easily disappear into the pockets of clandestine thieves.

Psicurity’s Physical Premises Vulnerability Assessment helps identify physical vulnerabilities, and provides a documented case for increased security measures and employee education.
